| Youth Crime Alert is a new monthly newsletter that reports on successful programs, legislation, and funding to reduce school violence, gang activity, teenage drug abuse, and juvenile delinquency. Upcoming issues will cover innovative programs to combat gangs and reach out to at-risk youth. Youth Crime Alert also covers grants available from public and private sources, such as the Department of Education, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, the Department of Justice, and dozens of national and regional foundations.
