The Epson PhotoPC 3100Z Digital Camera
 The
PhotoPC 3100Z is perfect for digital photography enthusiasts as well as business
professionals with its specialized, high-performance features. It is equipped
with a 3.34 megapixel CCD sensor for resolution up to 2048 x 1536. With Epson's
HyPict image enhancement technology, images are interpolated to 2544 x 1904
pixel resolution, or 4.8 megapixels, inside the camera before JPEG compression.
This remarkable resolution allow photographers to print stunning images as large
as 11 in. x 17 in.
HyPict technology offers a superior process when compared to other image
enhancement technologies that interpolate data after compression. The HyPict
process ensures that all of the original pixel information collected will be
utilized to enhance the image and provide amazing results.
The camera also features a 3x optical zoom, which is equivalent to a 34mm-102mm
lens on a 35mm camera, a 35-second web-ready video clip feature, and built-in
microphone. Included with the PhotoPC 3100Z is a 16 MB CompactFlash card that
stores up to 199 standard resolution images. For photographers desiring more
storage, the PhotoPC 3100Z will support cards up to 320 MB for expanded storage
capabilities.
