batteries fully juiced so you never miss a shot. In addition, a new LED
backlight and an energy-efficient digital signal processing IC consume far less
power than previous designs. The PowerShot A10 can capture up to 500 images
using alkaline batteries or even an incredible 1000 images with Ni-MH batteries.

Despite an affordable price tag, the PowerShot A10 has several features normally
associated with higher-end modes: shutter speeds from 1 second to 1/1500 of a
second; high-precision white balance ensuring optimum color temperature; and
nine image quality modes that enable users to choose the level of definition
